IEM Announces Steady Growth in 2006
Atlanta (January 19, 2007) –
Integrated
Event Management (IEM),
a premier provider
of creative and technical production and meeting
management services for corporations and associations
worldwide, announced today that the company
experienced
solid growth in 2006.
"We are pleased to see the continuing growth
of IEM," said Tom Kann, President and
Founder of IEM. “This progress is a tribute
to the hard work and dedication of the entire IEM
team and to the confidence our clients maintain
in our ability to deliver effective results – on
time and within budget.”
Last year, IEM produced and managed over 56 corporate and associations meetings

AAAAI
presents a pay-per-view site offering
over-the-Internet meeting content for CME
credit with Instant Archive™.
Atlanta (May 8, 2006) –
In
what is regarded as a first-ever industry achievement,
Integrated Event Management, Inc. (IEM), a leading
event and presentation technology management
company, announced today it has successfully posted
meeting content to the Web in record breaking time.
During the recent American Academy of Allergy, Asthma
and Immunology (AAAAI) Annual Meeting, held
at the Miami Beach Convention Center, IEM posted
meeting content for continuing medical education
(CME) credit within a 24-hour timeframe.
Using their proprietary Instant Archive™ technology,
IEM was able to meet AAAAI’s goal to present a pay-per-view site offering over-the-Internet
meeting content for CME credit. Instant Archive captured and recorded in real-time
a host of two-screen presentations, allowing them to be posted to the Web in
their native resolution in a streaming, watermarked version.
Instant Archive™ is a unique, cost-effective and efficient method of recording
meeting content that includes Power Point, video, and the presenter, all in one
package. Using a proprietary computer-based recording system, Instant Arc™ records
presentations exactly as they appear on-screen—in full “native” resolution.
Because the recording is real-time, IEM is able to deliver the finished product
in multiple formats to clients within hours of the conclusion of an event, and
all at a fraction of the cost of conventional video capture techniques.
Eric Lanke, Associate Executive Vice President of the AAAAI: "IEM helped
facilitate the participation of more than 150 remote attendees in our Annual
Meeting. Their Instant Archive™ technology helped extend our educational
reach and was well received by our attendees."
“To our knowledge, no one has turned around this type of material this
quickly,” said Tom Kann, President of Integrated Event Management. “But,
aside from turnaround time, it’s important to understand the major qualitative
differences between Instant Archive™ and traditional video capture that
make it ideal for the medical and scientific markets we serve. The goal is to
capture and make available both the presenter and the visual presentation material,
much of it extremely detailed graphics and video, just as the presenter intended
it to be presented in the meeting room. Conventional video capture requires extensive
and expensive editing and post-production of each presentation before it can
be released. Multiply that by dozens of presentations and you get an idea of
the challenges and cost. We integrate it all in real-time, effectively making
available in hours and days what used to take weeks and months at a fraction
of the cost. This certainly was key to AAAAI’s goal of providing CME credits
via the Internet while the content was fresh. And that’s exactly what Instant
Archive does.”
